THE ROUTE
04:20 - 04:50 am | Pick-up at your hotel in Cusco
Our adventure begins very early. The Machupicchu Glory team will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco and we will head south of the Sacred Valley in our private transport.
06:30 am | Andean breakfast in Cusipata
After roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes, we arrive at the picturesque town of Cusipata (3,310 masl), where an exquisite buffet breakfast made with fresh local produce awaits you.
08:00 am | Cultural visit to Checacupe
We continue to the ancient town of Checacupe (3,446 masl), famous for its centuries-old bridges over the Pitumarca River, spanning three different eras (Inca, colonial, and republican).
09:30 am | Arrival at the Palccoyo Community
After about an hour, we reach the Palccoyo Community, the starting point of our hike, among herds of llamas and alpacas.
10:00 am | Hike to the viewpoint of the three rainbow mountains
We begin a gentle uphill hike of about 40 minutes, accessible for most travelers. At the viewpoint (4,900 masl), you will witness three mountains of vibrant colors (ochre, green, red, and yellow), with time to explore the stone forest and take the best photographs.
12:30 pm | Return and buffet lunch in Cusipata
We descend and transfer back to Cusipata, where a delicious buffet lunch of Peruvian specialties awaits.
02:30 pm | Return to the city of Cusco
With your heart full of unforgettable images, we begin the journey back to Cusco.
05:30 pm (approx.) | Arrival in Cusco
We arrive in Cusco, dropping you off at the Plaza de Armas or a central point near your accommodation.
