THE ROUTE
07:30 AM | Private pickup at your Cusco hotel
Your private journey with Machupicchu Glory begins as your personal guide and driver collect you from your hotel in a private luxury vehicle and descend into the Sacred Valley of the Incas, pausing at the Taray viewpoint for sweeping views over the Urubamba River and its terraced hillsides.
09:00 AM | Pisac, citadel above the valley
Explore an impressive Inca citadel crowning the mountainside, with agricultural terraces cascading down the slope, a ceremonial quarter, an ancient Inca tunnel, and a hillside pocked with more than 2,000 tombs, all set against panoramic views of the valley below.
11:00 AM | Moray, the Greenhouse of the Incas
Cross the high Maras plateau to the concentric circular terraces set into a natural basin. Each descending ring forms its own microclimate, with up to 15°C of variation from top to bottom, an ingenious Inca agricultural laboratory once used to acclimatize crops from across the empire.
12:00 PM | Maras Salt Mines
A short drive brings you to thousands of dazzling white salt pans spilling down the hillside, fed by a natural saline spring and worked continuously since pre-Inca times to harvest the prized pink Andean salt.
01:00 PM | Gourmet lunch at a boutique hacienda
Savor an unhurried meal of fresh, seasonal Andean cuisine at a boutique hacienda restaurant, the perfect pause in your private day.
03:30 PM | Ollantaytambo, a living Inca town
Wander the original streets and water channels of a town inhabited since Inca times, then climb the great terraces to the Temple of the Sun with its colossal, precision-cut monoliths. Afterward, check into your boutique hotel and enjoy a relaxed dinner as evening settles over the valley.
05:00 AM | Rise before dawn
An early breakfast readies you for the day as you board one of the very first buses to climb the mountain, reaching Machu Picchu at first light just as the sun crests the surrounding peaks.
06:00 AM | First light over the citadel
The citadel emerges slowly from the morning mist, a private, almost sacred moment before the crowds arrive, with the apus, the mountain spirits of the Andes, standing watch over the valley far below.
06:30 AM | Intimate guided tour
Your personal expert guide leads a roughly two-hour tour through the three great sectors of the citadel: the agricultural zone with its sweeping terraces, the urban residential quarter, and the sacred religious precinct. Discover the curved Temple of the Sun aligned to the solstice light, the Intihuatana ritual stone that served as a solar clock and astronomical instrument, the Temple of the Three Windows overlooking the Main Plaza, and the Sacred Square, while your guide illuminates the temples, terraces, and celestial alignments and pauses at the classic panoramic lookout for your signature photographs.
10:00 AM | Descend to Aguas Calientes
With the morning behind you, a private bus carries you back down the winding mountain road to the town of Aguas Calientes for an exquisite, leisurely gourmet lunch.
02:00 PM | Return to Cusco
Board the afternoon train that follows the Urubamba River back through the valley to Ollantaytambo, where your private driver is waiting to transfer you comfortably to Cusco, delivering you to your hotel by early evening.

TRAVELER STORIES
“Every detail felt considered before we even asked — the private train car, the guide who knew we loved photography and timed our arrival for the light. This is how Machu Picchu should be seen.”
“No crowds, no rush — just the two of us and nine hundred years of stone in the morning mist. Worth every mile.”
